Meet the wedding party!

I am Bethany Carroll (Serez) older sister of Breanne Serez. I have known Breanne for a long 32 years, soon to be 33, with many more to come. I spent two whole years trying to survive my older brothers before my parents blessed me with a baby sister, a doll of my very own. Little did I know at the time, this screaming bundle of furry would quickly become my best friend and often my shadow. I have lived in a different province from my sister for over 10 years now and hope to be living side by side once again.

I met Brady when I was maybe 16 or 17 at our local church youth group in Hanover. He always had a crowd following him and you could tell he was well liked by most of the people there. He very quickly became friends with my older brother and then my younger sister. Well, you know the rest :) <3

Sister of the Bride

I was an early birthday present Breanne never asked for. Turning her birthday parties into our birthday parties. Something that may have been a barrier between sibings, became something that kept us close over the years. Having our birthdays so close together ment that neither of us were ever left celebrating alone. I am honored to be part of her wedding party and to be there for her on her special day!

I'm Brenna, Brady's younger sister! His first friend, victim, and sheer blessing of 29 years. I've spent my life following (and being dragged by) him around, and have seen Breanne by his side for many of the best parts. I could not be more excited to finally be a part of their wedding, and to see them together for the rest of our crazy memories!

Breanne and I met the summer I became very interested in her oldest brother, my now husband. The foundation of our friendship was built while I was working at SSRVP. We shared long hours in the office together, working, and also not working. She taught me to crochet, sitting on the floor of the park office and, since then, we have spent countless hours together. To quote my husband, the seemingly endless hours we spend together, simply talking, is proof of our easy friendship. Having Breanne as my friend and sister is truly one of the greatest blessings of my life.

My earliest memory of Brady is throwing his hat across the chainlink fence in the school yard at Dawnview Public School. He then proceeded to take my glasses and throw them in the same direction. Brady received a call home and was in trouble with his parents all weekend and I learned on Monday morning that I should always tell the full story. Coming from a small town, of course, we were destined to cross paths multiple times throughout our youth; school hallways, musical theater clubs, youth group, etc. So I really shouldn't have been surprised when I was invited for the first time to a long weekend event at SSRVP and there was Brady Ališauskas on a golf cart, next to my new boyfriend's baby sister.

I met Brady over 10 years go, through our mutual friend group. What started as very casual acquaintances, only in the more recent years turned into a very meaningful friendship. While we have many differences and are like the odd couple at times, we surprisingly have a lot in common. Through Brady, I also met Breanne. It's wild to see how one introduction can grow into lasting friendships.

Carl has known Brady for many years. Their relationship has grown from youth and mentor to a friendship that has helped each of them through many of life's hardships. From their first meeting, where Brady climbed (broke) into The Deck through an open window, to walking with each other through heartache and loss, and celebrating all the joys in life!

What is it that hold this friendship together? Trust, compassion, similar interests, maybe a willingness to be vulnerable? Yes, all these have played a part, but also crazy, a willingness to be a little bit crazy.

Breanne's second youngest brother - I've known Brady for a long time, Breanne a tad longer, I suppose. If there were ever a movie I hadn't seen, classic or otherwise, it was then his mission to educate me on the errors of my upbringing. From board games, movies, to creating a highly realistic paper mâché airplane while listening to dubstep in a barn; and that time a member of the blue man group dragged me into a pond; I seemed to always be shadowing this couple's heels. It feels like they've always been together with my siblings and I right there to follow suit. I'm glad to see the day of their wedding is finally on the horizon, to officially gain another brother... so long as their marriage doesn't interfere with our eight hour Civ VI matches. One hasn't lived until vanquishing a rival city with a newly procured hydrogen bomb while the crows cry to the sunrise, truly spectacular.

Aaron Mader

Best friend and terrible influence; Aaron is often found in the driver's seat of a vehicle that has something hanging off the back of it. That thing is usually Brady.

Aaron has hand-drawn schematics for a human slingshot, and two small children who are pretty durable. His wife is a surprisingly supportive woman, which - along with the offspring - must be testament to his incredible skill in lovemaking.

Aaron and Brady have been referred to as Batman and Robin. And it is Aaron's most adamant belief that it is *in that order*.
