Brady & Breanne first met when they were just 14 years old. The interaction was brief, but impressions were definitely made... at least for one of them. According to Breanne, she was at the local youth group when a boy came running up to her, handed her two scrunched up pieces of paper, asked "can you hold my boobs", and then disappeared again. Brady has no recollection of this, but when asked says "Yeah... I mean it definitely sounds like me".
They reconnected (or first met from Brady's perspective) three years later when they were 17. Brady had become friends with Breanne's older brother and couldn't help noticing his "cute little sister". Dude-Code aside, he knew that he had to do something to get her attention. Little did he know, he already had it. They soon entered a relationship that would eventually end in the glorious house fire that most teenage relationships seem to. They both had a lot of growing up and work on themselves to do.
Brady and Breanne would occasionally cross paths in the years that followed, but the interaction was never anything less than awkward and filled with half-meant small talk. Eventually in 2018, after 8 years, Brady reached out to Breanne to "grab coffee". Coffee turned into a walk down to the river, which turned into reminiscing, which turned into seeing each other almost every day. Within a few months of reconnecting they adopted a stray cat together (very unplanned) and their fate was sealed.
They could not be more excited to be getting married this year and starting the next chapter of their story - a story 19 years in the making.
